The Design Process

The first step in the design process is simply calling or emailing to give us a brief description of your project needs. We will then coordinate a time to meet in person, usually at the client’s location. During the consultation we will assess the client’s needs and discuss their vision for the space, gathering all relevant information to begin pulling together a design scheme.

Following the consultation, we will create a plan to include fabrics, furniture, finishes, rugs, and lighting. If the client wishes to reuse existing items, those will be integrated into the design scheme. After a few weeks, we will schedule a formal presentation at clients location to walk the client through every detail of our plan, making changes as necessary.

Once the client has approved the plan and pricing, Charleston ReStyle will place and track the orders and store the items at our warehouse until the project is ready for installation. During this time we will coordinate with and manage any subcontractors needed for the job (painters, plumbers, electricians, etc.).

 

The final and most exciting step is the installation. We ask that the client gives Charleston ReStyle the entire day(s) alone in the space to be creative. We deliver and place all ordered furniture and finish off the space with accessories and art. For the big reveal, we will walk with the client through their completely finished space.
